Our Vision

Our vision is to promote safer, more accessible and walkable urban environments. We believe that every person, at every age, deserves a safe and comfortable walking experience in the city.

Our Mission

Our mission is to collect field data, conduct academic research, and develop evidence-based tools to improve pedestrian safety and walkability in urban environments, focusing on children and at-risk populations.

The Research

We conduct interdisciplinary research combining psychology, urban planning, and transportation engineering to understand pedestrian behavior and develop interventions that save lives.

How It Works

1

Data Collection

We collect data in the field through surveys, observations and measurements of pedestrian behavior in real urban environments.

2

Analysis

We analyze the collected data using advanced statistical methods and machine learning tools to identify risk patterns.

3

Intervention Development

Based on findings, we develop educational programs and recommendations for urban planners and policymakers.

4

Implementation & Evaluation

We implement the interventions in the field and evaluate their effectiveness through controlled research studies.
